4. How to install your motion detectors
Adding your new sensor

The motion sensor can be mounted to the wall or placed on a shelf. It should be at least 4-5ft off the ground. Also provided in the box are back pieces one flat and one curved so that the motion detector can be placed in the corner of a room.
1. Remove the motion detector from the box
2. Remove the front cover
3. Insert the battery that is provided
4. Reattach the front cover
5. Choose the back piece that you want to use and attach it
6. Mount the device to the wall using the adhesive tape
All the sensors will come with default names, to change the name log onto the alarm.com app and select manage device within the navigation menu. Select the device you wish to rename and edit it.
