3. How to install your door/window sensor

The sensor is the larger piece of the two and magnet is the smaller thin piece.
1. Remove the door/window sensor from the box
2. Pull out the red battery tab
3. Line up the groove/line that is on the sensor and magnet
4. Test the positioning of the sensor and magnet before mounting
5. Stick the sensor onto the door and the magnet onto the door frame using the adhesive tape
6. Open and close the door a few times to test the sensor
All the sensors will come with default names, to change the name log onto the alarm.com app and select manage device within the navigation menu. Select the device you wish to rename and edit it.
