How to setup Video analytics

• Log into the Gokonnect website or the alarm.com mobile app

• Select Video

• Select Recording Rules (web app) or tap the settings icon in the upper corner

• On the mobile app select recording rules (select add new rule on web app)

• Select add new rule

• Choose Video analytics from the menu

• Select the camera you want to set analytics on

• Follow on screen instructions for setting up your ground zone or tripwire analytics

Tips for setting up your Ground zones and Tripwires

• Do not create a very large ground zone as it will cause the number of recordings you have to be very high.

• Draw them in places that people may try to enter your property and not just a large area

• Draw the ground zone or tripwire on the ground not on top of something i.e., the top of a fence

• If you live on a busy street make sure not draw the zone on the street otherwise it will be constantly recording traffic
