How to change your user code

When you first receive your system the user code will be the default code. The easiest way to change this code is through the alarm.com app. Open the Alarm.com app and follow the steps below to change the user code.

1. Open the navigation menu in the top left corner

2. Select Users

3. Here you will see all current users

4. Select the 3 dots opposite the user you want to edit

5. Select edit

6. Tap on the current code

7. Enter the new code

The user code will now be changed to the code of your choice.

IQ PANEL

The user code can also be changed on the IQ panel.

1. Swipe down from the top of the screen

2. Select settings

3. Select advanced settings

4. Select User Management

5. Then edit the User using the pen icon

6. Save

You can only edit the user you are currently logged in as, other users will have to change their own code if they wish to do so.
