Why am I not getting notifications?

If you are not receiving notifications there are a some common reasons to why you are not getting the notifications.


  • You might have the notifications turned off on your phone, on the alarm.com app check the notification menu and make sure push notifications are turned on.


  • If push notifications are turned on but you still aren't receiving the notifications you might not be a recipient on the notifications, in the notifications select a notification and scroll down to the bottom of the page and make sure your phone is an active recipient.


If the notifications are still not working turn off the and on the notifications and check the alarm.com app in your phone app settings make sure no privacy settings are turned on which could be blocking notifications.
