Tips for setting up Video Analytics

There are multiple things you can do to make sure your Video Analytics are setup to be as accurate as possible.

• Try not to draw ground zones or tripwires on objects that are likely to move i.e trees and hedging

• Only draw the rule where the feet or wheels of an object will be

• Don't draw the zone along the top of a wall keep it on the ground and around any furniture that may be in view of the camera

• Observe the recording you have and think about changing the minimum object detection size slider, increasing the size will reduce false detection and decreasing the size will detect smaller objects
