Are the cameras always recording?
No the cameras are not always recording they only record short clips when they are triggered through recording rules.
What are recording rules?
Video recording rules determine when a video device records a clip. These can be either a camera-triggered clips and event triggered clips. Camera triggered clips are Video motion detection and Video Analytics. Event triggered clips are Alarm if your system is triggered, sensor opened/closed or system armed/disarmed.
Where are my recorded clips saved?
Your recorded clips are saved to a cloud server and can be viewable on your app or website. They are in viewable in the video section.
Are the clips saved indefinitely ?
Your clips are saved for 30 days but can be downloaded locally.
