What to do if your cloud storage is full?

Note: We cannot reset your cloud storage clips you must wait till they reset, your clips reset every 30 days. The guide below will make sure you don't exceed your clip limit again.

If you are getting the notification that your cloud storage is full it might mean that you have your recording parameters set to be too broad. There are a few things you can do to fix this:


1. Setup video analytics instead of using the older motion detection rule (the analytics is much more accurate)

2. Narrow down the focus area of any video analytics you have setup

3. Change the analytics setting so you are not recording animals, cars, or people in high traffic areas.

4. Turn off the doorbell motion recording rule


Note: if the above do not work you can always increase your cloud storage capacity, but this comes at an added fee.


Your storage capacity can be checked by logging into the Gokonnect website and viewing the recording rules in the video section
