How to add a smart bulb to your system

ADDING A SMART BULB


To add a new smart bulb to your system you are going to have to log into your IQ panel using the installer code. Please contact support for your installer code. 


The first step for adding a smart bulb to your system is to put the system into learn mode and when the system is in learn mode you can move onto the next steps which is adding a multi white bulb or adding a multi colour bulb depending on the bulb you have bought.


1. Log in as the installer on your IQ panel

2. From the home screen swipe down from the top of the screen and select settings

3. Select advanced settings

4. Select installation

5. Select Z-wave device

6.Select Add device

7. This will put your system into learn mode

ADDING A MULTI WHITE SMART BULB


1. Toggle off the wall switch into the OFF position

2. Remove any existing light bulb and replace it with LED Bulb

3. With LED Bulb in its fitting, toggle your wall switch ON. LED Bulb’s LED will blink 2x times to indicate that it is looking for a Z-Wave network to connect to

4. After successfully connecting to your network, LED Bulb will blink off then on in about half a second to indicate that it attempted to pair to your network. If a network connection has failed, LED Bulb 6 Multi-White will not react

ADDING A MULTI COLOUR BULB


1. Toggle off the wall switch into the OFF position

2. Remove any existing light bulb and replace it with LED Bulb

3. With LED Bulb in its fitting, toggle your wall switch ON. LED Bulb’s LED will turn into a solid yellow colour to indicate that it is in pair mode up to 10 seconds

4. After successfully connecting to your network, LED Bulb will flash green -> white colour for 3 seconds. If a network connection has failed, LED Bulb 6 Multi-Colour will flash red -> white for 3 seconds


The IQ panel will now indicate a new device has been detected, you can now rename the smart bulb on the panel and select add device to complete the process.
